Woohoo! 50 issues! We are so OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD! We accept gifts of books, tea, snacks, glassware, cash etc. JOKING!

So, we have a lot of things planned for the rest of the year. Art exhibitions, fundraisers, spoken word, reading groups. Plus the usual Tues - Sat daily opening hours where you can pop in, read a book, make some tea, and generally 'hang'. Go on, it's free!

Evolve Love Fundraiser 
opening night Thursday 3rd November 6 - 8pm
Featuring Local Artists: Steven Papas, Jessica McPhee
Come & join us for the opening night of exhibition fundraiser for the Evolve Love art project. Enjoy freshly made affordable creations, music, wine & nibbles. Evolve Love, by GSspirit is to be presented at
Feast Festival. It's a non-profit installation of film, dance, UV art, & sound exploring the theme of 'EVOLVE LOVE' within the GLBTQI. It is free entry throughout the festival presented for the greater Feast
Festival Community. Drop in any time between 2-7pm, 1-8 Nov to check out the show.

November meeting of the Feminist Reading Group :: 6:30 - 9:30
Join us this month as we read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. In a dystopian adventure inspired by reality TV, the Iraq war and Greek mythology, we follow the exploits of Katniss as she competes for her
survival in the annual Hunger Games.

Hardboiled :: 8pm - late
Hard Boiled is a fast paced boisterous night of open mic poetry where the best reader on the night can walk away with $$$ Not bad for 3 poems! If you don’t win, you could walk away with some books, booze or even the coveted Hard Boiled booby prize! Entry is free, the raffle is gold coin donation. It all kicks off 8ish!
So iron that turtleneck, dust off the beret & don’t forget your stubbie holder for a night of poetry that will make your toes curl with joy!

The Monsters :: Feast Festival Exhibition.
Opening night event Friday 18th November, from 6pm. All welcome!
Sexuality, identity, how do we fit in society and what purposes do we serve? The Monsters presents a look into queer youth and the issues within.
Artists: Dylan Pimm, Ryan Walkins, Grace Mitchell and Lucy Palmer.
