:: Thursday 22nd March - 12th April :: ‘Living a life that I can’t leave behind’ – Fruzsi Kenez and Stephanie Lyall
Opening night :: Thursday 22nd March from 6pm - Special note of a tasty nature ~
On the opening night there will be delicious baked treats and the lipsmackiest punch you cats have ever tasted!

To feel tied to somewhere you cannot be is as crippling as it is thrilling. Fruzsi is tied to Hungary (her birthplace), the Netherlands and Germany; places she has travelled, lived and loved in. Stephanie is tied to Denmark; she lived there in 2008 and fell in love with its bikes, its design, its pastries, its funny little (impossible) language and its cosiness. Fruszi and Stephanie hope to exorcise their nostalgia by sharing these things with you.
Fruzsi Kenez is storyteller, traveler and curious fan of the unusual and the strange; an illustrator, ceramist and photographer.
Stephanie Lyall is a jill of all trades who is constantly dreaming of Scandinavia. Sometimes she takes photographs.

* Also later that night head to the Metro on Grote St for Nature Loves Courage from 8pm

:: Saturday 24th March ::
Songwriting Circle :: 6pm - late
It's time for Adelaide to develop its songwriting culture and establish a community of songwriters that can lean on one another.
SongLine School of Musical Composition is presenting a Songwriting Circle at the Reading Room.
Entry is free, all are welcome to attend.
Any songwriters interested in being in the circle can make a submission to danielle by emailing danielle@songlinemusic.com.au
This is a great opportunity for songwriters to share material with fellow songwriters. It's a time to discuss the craft of songwriting and the writing process.
We hope to see many faces there! Website: www.songlinemusic.com.au

:: Wednesday 4th April ::
April Meeting of the Adelaide Feminists Reading Group :: 6:30 - 9:30

If you thought feminism was just about men and women, think again: this month, we're reading Viviane Namaste's 'Sex Change, Social Change: Reflections on Identity, Institutions, and Imperialism', which addresses the less- discussed topic of how feminism relates to transsexual politics.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
